Reaper themes pro tools

And the question: I accidentally screwed something up when trying to change the top color of the VU meter, so now my tracks no longer resize to a nice height when I insert a new track they now insert really small. Not a big deal, but any idea what I can do to change it back? Also, the coloration on selected v. Don't know if anyone else has had this problem Is there any way to get the keyboard shortcuts to work the same as in PT? I've been trying to do it using actions, but can't get the ".

Not sure if there's much you can do on this front, but this is the single thing I would most like to have in Reaper to quickly jump to regions and markers, without being limited to the first I have never used ProTools, this theme is so darn nice to work with, it's not too dark or too light. A very beautiful theme. Still working on it? I've been trying to find a theme that wasn't either dull or like working in a coal mine.

This is it - love it. Thank you very much for your work on this. Sorry about that. I always forget to delete the thumbs. It always makes the file too large for acceptance. It's replaced now. That is really interesting, because just this last week I was working on a mod for my personal needs and I'm very close to get finished and to upload the mod But - back to your updated file - I cannot load it or unzip it - the file seems to be corrupt.

Would you mind uploading it again please? The window resizes for me to a point. It will eliminate all of the inserts at will, but the fader part doesn't adjust at all.

I know you can change the pink lines with an image program so they will. I'm still very new to editing themes for Reaper, though, and I apologize for not being being able to help more. Fixed the Z-order of elements so the clip indicator can be cleared with a mouse click as suggested by Adam thanks to Lymbe Rjd. Also adjusted several image files to make it look more clean.

NOTE: I've included two screenshots of my appearance settings in case you're wanting to emulate the way the theme looks in the screenshots. To pull up the custom colors, first extract the Extras folder from the archive the ProTools Of course, you'll need the SWS Extensions. The Extras folder also contains a custom Pro Tools splash and program icon as well.

Hopefully, it's to everyone's liking. I am by no means a professional or expert themer, so there may be bugs. I did my best to find them all before posting and I apologize if I missed any. Love this theme! Although I can't seem to get any plugins showing in the mixer window. It's just an empty space where the plugins are supposed to be. The theme contains various alternate layouts which enable you to display everything you need for a specific workflow stage.

This is a great design decision, allowing you to fully focus in on the task in-hand. Although the analogue styled interface may not be for everyone, I really liked it. It should be noted however that White Tie recommend a specific set of Reaper user preferences that must be selected outside of the theme for everything to look its best. See their website for more details. In summary, the Imperial Theme is probably not your best option for a single display, however, if you do have the screen real estate then this theme is unsurpassed.

As the name suggests, the Smooth 6 theme by bOse is simply gorgeous to look at. Minimalist in design, it looks both sleek and modern. Note that this theme is slightly more complicated to install than just dragging it into Reaper, however it shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to figure out. You'll find the instructions in the link above.

I found this theme to be one of the best in this list. The changes aren't too radical, so you still feel right at home using it, but it does improve on the default theme in a number of nice ways. Although the theme is free as are all the themes in this list , the developer has obviously put a great deal of time and effort into making this. If you choose to, you can support him by giving a small donation. Note that the theme was created on a monitor with a screen resolution of x, and that the developer also recommends the use of a dual-monitor setup.

This isn't the only ProTools Reaper theme available, however having checked-out a fair a few of them this was the best of the bunch. At the time of writing it's still in Beta but is already showing great promise. If you are coming to Reaper from Ableton then you need to bear in mind that some things in Reaper work very differently than Ableton Live.

So even though the interface may look similar, you'll still need to get your head around the many differences in workflow.

Freakin awesome theme i must admit, was looking forward using it for weeks now. Pro tools mock but, imho much much better than the original pro tools 10 theme. This guy is a genius!!! So the Reaper Pro Tools skin makes the FX button and routing button extra wide and sticks them in the same spot, so that it kinda looks like Pro Tools, but it loses information, uses more space than is needed, and creates a false impression about how close the UI's match.

Oasis is one of the world's most advanced cities, a shining jewel rising from the Arabian Desert. A monument to human ingenuity and invention, researchers and academics from around the region came together to found a city dedicated to scientific progress without restraints.

The city and its inhabitants are governed by the Ministries, a collection of brilliant minds who possess many secrets that have attracted the interest of powerful organizations from around the world. Oasis is set in the Arabian desert of Iraq. In their minds, what better way to do so than by turning a desolate landscape into one of the most technologically advanced and wondrous cities in the world, which could serve as a hub for unrestricted scientific endeavor.

Al-Shahrani, spearheaded the effort by developing cutting-edge technology that could sustain a thriving city in a desert environment. As per its goal for advancing human knowledge, Oasis has one of the most highly educated populations on Earth, served by a state-of-the-art university and a database of all the world's known existing printed material.

It also ranks as one of the safest cities due to its usage of advanced predictive surveillance and crime modeling. Inhabitants also enjoy access to a wide range of world-class amenities, such as the verdant Abu Hassoun Gardens, temperature controlled streets, the luxurious Gilded Tower Hotel, and the elBuffi restaurant, considered the best dining establishment in the world. Perhaps the only cause for concern is the growing city's heavy traffic, for which the Ministry of Transportation has issued a public advisory.

One of Oasis' most recognizable landmarks is an enigmatic tower that remains under construction for an indefinite period of time. Already the world's tallest building, it is slated to become the tallest freestanding structure of any kind. It is believed that the project is part of the city's ever-expanding computational and data collecting efforts.
