Ness kpl-97 manual

OK, so its in programme mode at the moment, press P11E to get the Current code out, when you have it, press P then E to exit programme mode. Originally Posted by Malus. Thanks for all the help guys, that tamper mode isnt explained in the manual :P All sensors are setup and codes set to how i need them. I have also recently moved into a home which has a D8 installed. I was hoping to reset the master code? By reseting the master code so I can make changes in the future, more importantly I need code so we can start using the security system.

I currently have one remote - can this be duplicated on the remote end or do I need to program the D8? If so how do I program the remote? The manuals says press P? Any help would be appreciated.

To change the codes you do not need to be in full program mode, just user program mode. Originally Posted by Keystone. The P11E code only gets you into lower menu, you probebly want to get into the upper menu with lots of Joao - you should be talking to MCman.

He is a fairly senior employee with the people who make the system. He will be able to help you. Hello Joao, Some radio keys have a different 24bit encryption we have two similar looking keys but for different products but can still be used on the other product. If this is the case where you get to the stage of learning in a Keyfob but it just doesnt learn in, P68E option 4 needs to be toggled on. Any help will be much appreciated! I've also tried to contact sentinel and ness but they are only opened from monday-friday.

Sounds like a 24 hour zone has gone off, could be a smoke detector if you have one, siren or panel tamper. It's concerning that the system didn't disarm after you input the code though.

I'd be checking to see if the panel cover is shut properly for starters. I'm unfamiliar of this type of system. A picture of the keypad could be handy if your still having problems. Hi, the early version D8's would go into fail safe mode due to a low battery. I would say the battery you purchased is probably crook, or the pcb battery charge circuit has failed. Without measuring the battery charge voltage with a metre we wont know.

Did you replace the battery or did a tech service the Alarm and check the output voltage and charge circuits? Hey, Thanks for the advice guys Sentinel came around about a month ago and replaced our battery.

We had an electrician come around only because it was a Saturday and no one else was available and he thinks the circuit board is the issue, somehow it's stuffed up. I'm not too sure if he checked the output voltage and charge circuits though. Tags for this Thread ness , security alarm , sentinel.
